Wild&Free presentation at Myerscough College

On Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd of November, Geraldine had the great opportunity to talk to two groups of ecology students in their final year at Myerscough College in Preston, UK. She discussed primate conservation and in particular the topic of rehabilitation and release, which introduced the work Wild&Free focuses on. The end of the presentation was an opportunity to experience virtual reality and see wildlife in their natural environment with 360 videos viewed through a VR mask. It was so great to see everyone teachers and students' reaction, as they all looked totally wow-ed! It was also really overwhelming to see that both students and teachers were engaged through their questions and kind personal messages as well as feeling that this generation was inspired and keen to take responsibility through conservation work. There is so much hope for the future. What an amazing experience it was! With purpose and passion, everyone can do conservation and every individual can make a difference.
